4-inch Facial Fingerprint Terminal

The ZKTeco nFace128 is a 4-inch touch colour screen terminal that combines visible-light facial recognition, fingerprint scanning and IC card verification in one unit. It is built for small to medium workplaces that need a single device to log employee attendance and control door access. The terminal stores up to 1000 face templates, 1000 fingerprint templates and 1000 card users, with a log capacity of 100000 records.

Replaces Standalone Readers

This terminal replaces separate fingerprint readers, card readers and facial recognition units by merging all three methods into one housing. The jump is worth it when you want to reduce hardware on the wall, simplify user enrolment and manage a single 100000-record log through TCP/IP or optional WiFi. U disk upload and download is also supported for sites without a permanent network link.

Check Power and Mounting

Before ordering, confirm you can supply DC12V 3A at the mounting location and that the operating range of 12 to 45°C and humidity up to 95% suit the installation environment. The unit measures 192.5 by 80.5 by 19.2 mm, so verify the wall space and cable routing. Ensure your attendance software is compatible with ZKAccess3.5, E-ZKEco Pro or ZKTime5.0 for data integration.

Questions about this item

What wall-mount dimensions does the 192.5×80.5×19.2 mm terminal need?

The unit measures 192.5 mm high, 80.5 mm wide and 19.2 mm deep, so allow at least that footprint plus cable clearance for the DC12V 3A power lead and TCP/IP cable.

Which wiring step is often missed when installing the nFace128?

Connecting the Wiegand Out cable to the door controller is frequently overlooked; without it the relay will not trigger even though TCP/IP communication works.

How often should the binocular camera lenses be cleaned?

Wipe both lenses with a lint-free cloth whenever dust or smudges are visible; the visible-light fill light will then operate correctly in low-light conditions down to 0 °C.
