Terminal for facial fingerprint access control

The nFace128 is a 4-inch touch terminal that combines visible-light facial recognition, fingerprint scanning and IC card verification for employee time attendance. It stores up to 1,000 face templates, 1,000 fingerprints and 1,000 card users with a log capacity of 100,000 records. A high-definition binocular camera adjusts to ambient light and activates fill illumination automatically. Communication runs over TCP/IP with optional WiFi, and data can be moved via U disk.

Suits small to mid-size offices needing multi-mode

Organisations that require facial, fingerprint and card authentication on a single device with local record storage will fit the 1,000-user capacity. Sites needing larger user databases, outdoor-rated housings or integrated battery backup are not addressed by this terminal.

Check power and network before ordering

The unit requires a DC 12 V 3 A supply and operates between 0 and 45 °C at up to 95 % humidity. Confirm that your wiring can deliver the stated voltage and that a TCP/IP network drop or optional WiFi is available at the mounting location. Verify compatibility with ZKAccess3.5, E-ZKEco Pro or ZKTime5.0 software for data management.

Questions about this item

Does the terminal need a separate DC 12V 3A power adapter to operate?

Yes, the unit ships without a built-in supply and requires an external DC 12V 3A adapter to power the binocular camera and fill light.

Can the Wiegand Out port send badge data to an older access panel that only has Wiegand input?

The Wiegand Out interface is designed to transmit verification results to legacy controllers that accept standard Wiegand signalling.

After mounting, how can I confirm the facial and fingerprint readers are enrolling staff correctly?

Use the 4-inch touch screen to enroll a test user; a successful enrolment will display the face and fingerprint templates and increment the user count toward the 1,000 limit.
