Access control for small sites
The SC203+IC is a door access and time attendance controller designed for houses, small offices and factories. It supports ID cards as standard with optional IC card capability and stores up to 30000 users and 50000 transaction records. Operation is handled through an onboard LCD display or via PC software.
Build and daily connectivity
The unit features an elegant casing built for straightforward installation and reliable daily use. It provides full door lock control with interfaces for a third-party electric lock, door sensor, exit button, alarm and door bell. Wiegand input and output allow master and slave configurations or connection to a control panel, while TCP/IP, RS232/485 and USB-Host cover data transfer and network integration.
Upgrade path and fit
This device replaces standalone keypads or basic readers that lack integrated lock control and multi-door networking. The jump is worthwhile when you need anti-passback, SMS functions or optional Webserver and Proximity features in a single unit powered by 12V DC and rated for 0 to 45 °C operation.

Questions about this item
What does the Wiegand interface on the SC203+IC cap in practice?
The Wiegand input connects an external reader for master-and-slave operation, while the Wiegand output lets the unit act as a reader for a control panel.
What physical connections does the SC203+IC need for a full door-lock system?
It requires wiring for a third-party electric lock, door sensor, exit button, alarm and door bell through its access-control interface.
How is the SC203+IC installed, and what step is often missed?
Mount the unit, wire power at 12V DC and the access-control terminals, then configure anti-passback and communication via TCP/IP, RS232/485 or USB-Host; forgetting to set the Wiegand direction for master-slave or reader mode is the common error.
