The ZKTECO U260+IC is a fingerprint biometric time clock designed for office environments that need reliable employee check-in and check-out records. It stores up to 3000 fingerprint templates and 100000 transactions, making it suitable for small to medium workforces. The 3-inch colour TFT screen provides a clear graphical interface for daily operation. Verification completes in roughly .5 seconds per user.

Integration and connectivity

The unit connects to existing infrastructure through RS232, RS485, TCP/IP and a USB client port, allowing it to slot into a local network or operate standalone when the network is unavailable. Power is supplied via a DC 5V .8A adapter, so no high-current circuit is required. Optional ID, Mifare or HID card readers can be added for multi-factor entry. An external printer or bell can also be attached for hard-copy logs or shift signalling.

Bundled software and expandability

BioTime software is included for centralised attendance management, reporting and real-time data export to third-party hosted or non-hosted applications. The built-in webserver enables browser-based configuration without extra tools. An SDK is available for developers who need custom integration with payroll or HR platforms.
