Visible-light facial terminal for offices

The ZKTeco XFace600 uses visible-light facial recognition to identify users in about 0.5 seconds. It runs on a Linux operating system and combines face, fingerprint and RFID card authentication in one device. A 5-inch colour touchscreen handles the interface and shows live camera images. The terminal stores up to 10000 faces, 10000 fingerprints and 10000 users with 100000 event records.

Suits sites needing multi-factor door control

This unit fits installations that want fast contactless entry plus fingerprint backup and card support. Built-in Wiegand in/out, door magnet and alarm outputs let it drive electric locks and integrate with access panels. TCP/IP and optional Wi-Fi give network flexibility. Buyers who only need simple clocking without door control or who require outdoor-rated hardware should look at other models.

10000-face capacity decides fit

The terminal holds 10000 face templates alongside 10000 fingerprints and 10000 users. If your workforce exceeds that figure you will need a higher-capacity terminal or a server-based system. For organisations within this limit the XFace600 delivers all three biometric modes plus access-control relays in a single 203 by 92 by 22.5 mm unit powered by 12 V DC.
