Visible-light facial terminal for access control

The ZKTeco xFace700 is a 7-inch touch-screen device that uses a high-dynamic binocular camera with near-infrared and visible-light fill to verify faces at distance. It stores up to 10000 users and 10000 face templates while logging 200000 events. Standard TCP/IP and WiFi links let it fit existing network infrastructure, and a DC12V 3A supply powers the unit across an operating range of -20°C to 45°C and 0% to 90% humidity.

Replaces separate reader.

One terminal handles mask detection, multi-face recognition, anti-passback, door-switch monitoring and duress alarm without extra modules. The built-in external-printing interface removes the need for a dedicated attendance printer. IP54 protection means the same hardware works indoors or in sheltered outdoor locations where a basic indoor reader would fail.

Steady throughput at the door under continuous

The dual-camera and dual-fill-light arrangement maintains recognition speed in low light and during peak flow, preventing queue build-up. Internal storage holds months of logs before offload, so the device keeps recording even if the network link pauses. Operating-temperature headroom to 45°C ensures the terminal stays functional in warm lobbies or unconditioned corridors where lesser units throttle.

Installers frequently forget to link the door magnetic sensor and exit button to the dedicated Wiegand input and output terminals before powering the DC12V 3A supply.

What consumable does the external printing function require and how often must it be replaced?

The optional external printer uses thermal paper rolls that must be replaced once the roll is exhausted; frequency depends on daily attendance volume.
