Zoom Podtrak P8 13-track Podcasting Mixer

Portable multitrack podcast recorder

The Zoom PodTrak P8 is a compact 13-track recorder and mixer built for multi-person podcasts. It captures up to six microphones simultaneously and runs on four AA batteries for about two hours of mobile operation. A full-colour touchscreen handles recording, editing and sound-pad triggering without a computer.

For panel shows and remote interviews

Podcasters who record round-table discussions or need two echo-free call-ins will benefit from the dedicated mix-minus routing and nine assignable sound pads. Solo creators who only need a single microphone and basic monitoring will find the channel count and routing options unnecessary.

13 simultaneous recording tracks

The defining specification is the ability to record 13 tracks at once — six mic channels, a stereo mix and additional sources such as remote calls or sound pads. This capacity decides whether the PodTrak P8 matches the production scale you plan.
