Portable 2x2 USB-C Audio Interface
The Zoom UAC-232 is a compact 2-in/2-out audio interface designed for musicians, podcasters and streamers. It features dual F-Series mic/line/Hi-Z preamps with 48V phantom power and 32-bit float / 192 kHz AD/DA conversion. The unit includes a headphone output, stereo monitor outputs and hook-and-loop straps for flexible mounting.
Bus-Powered Operation Limits
The interface draws power from a connected Mac or Windows computer via USB-C. When used with a Lightning-equipped iOS device, an external USB-C power source is required and is sold separately. Latency-free direct monitoring and a loopback mode are available for real-time playback and streaming workflows.
32-Bit Float Recording Depth
Dual AD converters and 32-bit float resolution at 192 kHz capture clip-free audio across extreme dynamic ranges without gain adjustment. This specification determines whether the interface can preserve takes that would otherwise be lost to sudden volume changes.

Questions about this item
What does the 32-bit float / 192 kHz spec mean for my recordings?
