Clear LLDPE Poly Bags, 15" x 8

These Zoro Select 5DRX4 bags are open-ended, gusseted pouches made from 0.75 mil linear low-density polyethylene. Each case contains 1000 clear bags measuring 15 inches long by 8 inches wide. They are FDA compliant and carry California Proposition 65 warnings for cancer and reproductive harm.

Suits light packaging and parts storage

The open-top, hang-hole-free design works for manual packing, hardware sorting or temporary component protection where a heat seal is not required. Buyers needing a resealable closure, a printed label panel or a heavier gauge for sharp-edged items should consider a different bag style.

0.75 mil thickness sets puncture resistance

At three-quarters of a mil the film resists light abrasion but will tear under heavy or pointed loads. Confirm that this gauge matches the weight and edge profile of the contents before ordering the 1000-count case.

Questions about this item

Does the case of 1000 bags include any dispenser or sealing equipment, or must those be purchased separately?

The case contains only the 1000 open-top poly bags; no dispenser, sealer or hang-hole hardware is included.

The specs list a chisel type — does that describe the bag shape or a separate tool, and which version should I choose?

Chisel refers to the soldering-tip style associated with this SKU; the bag itself is a standard 15 by 8 inch gusseted LLDPE sack, so choose the single case configuration shown.

In practice, what does the 0.75 mil thickness mean for puncture resistance when the bag holds sharp metal parts?

At 0.75 mil the LLDPE film resists tearing from light sheet-metal edges and component leads, but heavy or jagged items may still puncture it.
