Heavy Duty Vinyl Tarp 15 ft 2 in x 19 ft 6 in

The Zoro Select 5WTX8 is a 20 mil black vinyl tarp built for heavy duty outdoor protection. Its rope reinforced hems and single stitched seams add strength across the finished dimensions of 15 ft 2 in by 19 ft 6 in. Brass grommets spaced 24 in apart provide secure tie down points for covering equipment, vehicles or construction materials. The fabric weighs 18 oz per square yard and resists mildew, tearing and UV exposure.

Installation and Common Issues

Lay the tarp flat and align the brass grommets with your anchor points before securing with rope or bungee cords. The 20 mil vinyl is stiff in cold weather so allow it to warm in the sun for easier handling and folding. Single stitched seams can leak under pooling water so maintain a slope for runoff. Sharp edges will cut the material so use padding at contact points to prevent tears.

Sustained Outdoor Performance

The vinyl construction remains waterproof and UV resistant during extended sun and rain exposure. Mildew resistance prevents degradation on damp surfaces over weeks of use. Brass grommets resist corrosion better than steel when subjected to repeated wet and dry cycles. The heavy duty 18 oz fabric weight maintains tear resistance under constant wind flap but the material is not breathable so condensation may form underneath.
