Product Identity

The Zoro Select Chisel Soldering Tip is supplied as a case pack of 1000 clear open poly bags. Each bag measures 14 inches wide by 16 inches long with a 1 mil thickness. The flat bottom design uses linear low density polyethylene that meets FDA compliance standards.

Suitability

This pack suits operations that need a high volume of standard open-top bags for general soldering workflows. Buyers who require hang holes for display or a different closure style should look at alternative configurations. The product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for chemicals linked to cancer and reproductive harm.

Capacity and Limits

The 1000-count case provides ample stock for extended production runs without frequent reordering. The 1 mil film offers basic protection but will not withstand heavy loads or sharp edges that demand a thicker gauge. Users needing heavier-duty containment must select a different specification.

Questions about this item

What soldering iron or station accepts a 14 x 16 in chisel tip?

This listing is for clear LLDPE open poly bags measuring 14 in by 16 in, not a soldering tip. The bags are 1 mil thick, FDA compliant, and sold in a 1000 pack.

Will these 14 x 16 in bags fit on my existing bag dispenser or rack?

The bags have an open top with no hang hole and a flat bottom, so they are designed to sit on a shelf or flat surface rather than hang from a dispenser.

How can I confirm the bags meet the 1 mil thickness and FDA compliance after opening the case?

Each bag is made from linear low-density polyethylene at 1 mil thickness; the case is labelled as FDA compliant and carries the California Proposition 65 warning for the listed chemicals.
