Zoro Select 12 x 9 Inch Reclosable Bags

These clear poly bags measure 12 inches by 9 inches with a 4 mil thickness. They are made from low density polyethylene and feature a zip seal closure. Each pack contains 1000 bags packed in a corrugated box. The bags are FDA compliant and have a flat bottom design.

Zip Seal Closure and Bulk Quantity

The zip seal allows the bags to be opened and closed repeatedly without losing integrity. A flat bottom helps the bags stand upright when filled. The 1000 count package supports high volume packing operations. No hang hole is included on the bag design.

LDPE Material Limits and Regulatory Notes

Low density polyethylene provides clarity and flexibility but offers limited puncture resistance compared to thicker films. The product carries California Proposition 65 warnings for chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm. Buyers needing barrier properties against oxygen or moisture should evaluate alternative materials.

Questions about this item

Will the 4 mil low-density polyethylene material need replacement if the zipper seal wears out?

The bags are single-use consumables; when a zipper seal fails the individual bag is discarded and replaced from the 1000-count pack.

What is the first limit reached when the bags are filled to the 12 inch by 9 inch usable dimensions daily?

The 4 mil LDPE thickness sets the puncture and tear resistance ceiling, so overloading beyond typical light contents causes the first failures.

Do the clear LDPE bags emit any odour or heat when stored sealed for long periods?

No odour or heat is produced; the material is inert at room temperature and the Proposition 65 notice relates to chemical content, not runtime emissions.
