Ideal for finishing and prep work

These Zoro Select sanding sheets measure 11 inches by 9 inches and come in a 100-count pack. The very fine P240 grit aluminum oxide abrasive is suited for surface preparation between coats and light material removal. They serve woodworkers, painters and DIYers who need consistent results on wood, metal or painted surfaces.

Capacity and headroom

One hundred sheets provide ample supply for multi-room projects or repeated workshop use without frequent reordering. The B-weight paper backing offers enough durability for hand sanding or use with a block, though it will wear faster under heavy machine pressure. Very fine grit removes minimal material, so it is not intended for aggressive stock removal or shaping tasks.

Thermals noise and power

Paper-backed sheets generate no heat, noise or power draw during use. The aluminum oxide grain cuts cleanly with light hand pressure, reducing user fatigue over long sessions. There are no moving parts or electrical requirements to consider in the workshop environment.

Questions about this item

Will the 11" x 9" sheets fit the rectangular pad on my older orbital sander?

The sheets measure 11 inches by 9 inches and use a paper backing with B-weight flexibility, so they conform to standard rectangular pads of that size.

How can I confirm the P240 grit is performing as expected after I start sanding?

A consistent, fine scratch pattern on the workpiece and steady material removal without clogging indicate the aluminum oxide abrasive is cutting at the rated P240 level.

Does the 100-pack include any backing pads or adhesives, or must I buy those separately?

The box contains 100 individual sanding sheets only; backing pads, hook-and-loop converters or spray adhesives are sold separately.
