16-Channel 1080p Surveillance Kit

This 16-channel DVR kit includes eight 1080p bullet cameras and a pre-installed 2 TB hard drive. The recorder accepts 2 MP, 1 MP or 960H analogue cameras over coaxial cable. H.265+ compression reduces bit-rates by roughly 50 percent versus H.264.

Home and small-business owners needing wired

Buyers who want wireless cameras, IP-network streams or more than eight cameras out of the box should consider other solutions. The system ships with 60 ft combined video-power cables per camera, so installation requires cable runs.

2 TB drive handles continuous 24/7 recording

Motion-detection and scheduled modes extend retention well beyond round-the-clock capture. When the drive fills, oldest footage is overwritten automatically. Eight additional camera ports remain open for future expansion.

Questions about this item

Does the 16 channel DVR require a separate monitor for local viewing?

Yes, the system connects to a monitor for local access and playback without needing an internet connection.

Can the included 8 cameras be mixed with existing 960H analog cameras on the same DVR?

The DVR supports 2MP, 1MP and 960H HD-TVI, CVI and AHD cameras, so older 960H models can be added to the remaining channels.

How can I confirm the H.265+ compression is reducing storage use after installation?

With H.265+ the 2TB drive stores about 80% more footage than H.264, so continuous recording will run significantly longer before overwrite occurs.
