What it is and who it's for

The ZQS YF8147 is a fully automatic electric pencil sharpener finished in pink. It handles standard 6–8 mm graphite, charcoal and coloured pencils and is designed for classroom, office or home use. The rechargeable battery removes the need for disposable cells, making it a practical gift for children and regular writers.

The spec that decides fit

A single alloy-steel blade wheel carries 10 cutting edges and offers three selectable tip profiles: sharp, medium and blunt. The wheel is rated for more than 5,000 sharpening cycles, so the sharpener suits users who want adjustable point styles without swapping parts.

Installation and common issues

Charging is via the built-in Type-C port; a full charge delivers over 500 sharpenings and lasts about three months under typical use. The unit can also operate while plugged in if the battery is depleted. The auto-feed mechanism grabs and releases the pencil on its own, but very short stubs or heavily worn pencils may not engage reliably.
