The ZyXEL USGFLEX200H is a wired firewall appliance built for small offices that need multi-gigabit throughput and unified threat management. It delivers 4.88 Gbit/s firewall throughput, 250 MB/s IPS throughput and 150 MB/s VPN throughput while consuming 22 W. Two 2.5GBase-T ports provide flexible WAN or LAN assignment without additional modules.

Build integration

The unit fits into a rack or desktop deployment and requires only the supplied power adapter and console cable for initial setup. Software-defined ports let each 2.5 Gbit/s interface operate as WAN or LAN, freeing the builder from fixed port roles. Nebula cloud management is optional, so the appliance can be administered locally or centrally without extra licences.

Sustained operation

Dedicated system resources keep packet processing latency low during continuous inspection workloads such as cloud sandboxing, reputation-enabled defense and application control. Encryption uses AES 256-bit, 3DES, DES, SSL and SHA-2 256-bit algorithms at wire speed. The platform targets office links up to 1000 Mbps with UTM throughput of 1500 Mbps and SPI throughput of 5000 Mbps.
