Dual-band WiFi 6 wall-plate access point with four Gigabit Ethernet ports, PoE+ power and 2.93 Gbit/s wireless speed
The ZyXEL WAX300H is a Wi-Fi 6 access point that mounts in a standard wall-plate footprint and draws power through PoE+. It provides dual-band 802.11ax wireless service with a total radio rate of 2.93 Gbit/s and includes four gigabit Ethernet ports for wired devices.
It suits hotels, dormitories or offices that need in-room wireless and wired connectivity without adding a separate switch or power supply. Buyers who require ceiling-mount hardware, external antennas or higher aggregate throughput should consider other form factors.
The unit accepts PoE+ on its uplink and passes power to a downstream device through one of its four RJ-45 ports, letting it support a VoIP phone or IP camera without an extra injector. If the site cabling cannot deliver PoE+, the access point cannot be powered.
