The 30 AWG construction is rated for runs from 0.5 to 3 meters and ships individually tested for signal integrity.

Replaces dual optics and fibre patch cords

A single twinax assembly displaces two SFP+ transceivers and a separate fibre jumper, cutting rack density, acquisition cost and power draw compared with 10GBASE-CX4 or CAT6A 10GBASE-T alternatives.
