Eco-friendly invisible tape for documents

This 3M 6123 Magic Greener Tape uses a plant-based adhesive with 53 percent plant-based materials by weight. The matte-finish tape turns invisible on paper and will not show on copies. You can write on it with pen, pencil or marker for labelling or corrections. Six rolls arrive in refillable dispensers for convenient storage and use.

Check dispenser fit and surface compatibility

Each roll measures 600 inches long by 3/4 inch wide on a 1-inch core. Verify that your existing dispenser accepts this core size before ordering. The adhesive is designed for paper and photo-safe applications; test on a small area if you plan to use it on other surfaces. No special tools are required for installation.

Consistent adhesion during extended use

The tape resists yellowing and drying out so it remains clear and usable over time. It pulls off the roll smoothly and cuts easily without splitting or tearing during repeated handling. This behaviour supports long study sessions, office tasks or archival work where the tape stays under tension for hours. The plant-based adhesive maintains its hold without becoming brittle.

Questions about this item

What comes in the 6123 pack and do I need a separate dispenser?

The pack contains six rolls of 3/4-inch wide tape, each 600 inches long on a 1-inch core, and every roll is already loaded in its own refillable clear plastic dispenser so nothing extra is required.

How do I choose between the plant-based percentage claims on the 6123?

The manufacturer highlights state the tape contains 53 percent plant-based materials by weight, while the broader description notes more than 75 percent renewable plant-based content; both figures refer to the same Magic Greener formulation.

Will the 600-inch rolls stay invisible and writable after I apply them to documents?

Yes, the matte-finish Magic Greener tape disappears on paper, won't show on copies, resists yellowing and drying out, and accepts pen, pencil or marker writing.
