Commercial Cellulose Sponge

The 3M C31 is a yellow commercial cellulose sponge built for heavy-duty cleaning tasks. It delivers absorbency ten times greater than polyurethane sponges. The construction resists breakdown during extended use.

Suited for large-area wipe-downs

This sponge fits janitorial crews and facilities that need a long-lasting tool for general clean-up and surface texturising. Buyers who need a smaller handheld pad or an abrasive scrubbing surface should consider other options.

Ten-times absorbency advantage

The cellulose material holds liquid far more effectively than standard polyurethane alternatives. This capacity reduces the frequency of rinsing during big jobs. The durable structure keeps the sponge intact through repeated wringing.

Questions about this item

Which 3M C31 cellulose sponge size should I choose?

The 3M C31 is supplied as a single yellow sponge measuring 6 x 4-1/4 inches, so there is only one version to select.

What does the 10-times absorbency claim mean in daily use?

It means each sponge can hold roughly ten times more liquid than a typical polyurethane sponge, so you finish large wipe-downs with fewer rinses.

What cleaning standard does the cellulose material meet?

The commercial-grade cellulose is built for heavy-duty janitorial work and resists falling apart during extended scrubbing.
