3M F9469PC Acrylic Transfer Tape 5 mil

This 3M acrylic adhesive transfer tape comes in a pack of two continuous rolls. Each roll is one inch wide and five yards long with a 5.00 mil thickness. The clear tape uses a kraft paper liner and suits general bonding tasks.

Replaces mechanical fasteners and liquid adhesives

The tape bonds without screws, rivets or curing time. It is worth switching when a clean, immediate bond is needed on metal, plastic or painted surfaces. The acrylic formulation resists temperatures from -40 to 300 degrees F.

Two rolls give ten yards of continuous length

The combined length handles repeated small jobs or longer single runs. Headroom ends when the application demands a thicker adhesive layer or a wider coverage than one inch. Standards ASTM D897, D1002 and D3654 apply.

Questions about this item

What width and core diameter does the 1-1/2 inch core tape need for a dispenser?

The tape is 1 inch wide on a 1-1/2 inch core, so a dispenser must accept that core size and at least 1 inch width.

How do I apply the F9469PC transfer tape without trapping the kraft liner?

Peel the kraft paper liner away while pressing the clear acrylic adhesive onto the surface; the liner is not meant to stay on the bond line.

How often should I replace the tape if used near the 300 Degrees F limit?

At sustained high temperatures the acrylic adhesive will degrade faster; inspect bonds regularly and replace rolls once adhesion drops.
