6-pack non-scratch kitchen sponges

These 3M sponges come in a six-count set sized 6.1 x 3.3 cm for everyday dish washing and surface cleaning. The dual-sided design pairs a soft microfiber face for glasses and dishes with a rough scrubber side for non-stick cookware. They are safe on stainless steel sinks, countertops, cutlery and bathtubs. The pack suits households wanting a single sponge type for multiple kitchen tasks.

Vacuum-compressed format and restoration

Each sponge arrives vacuum-compressed and appears flat when the package is opened. Soaking in water above 140 degrees for about 10 seconds or leaving in warm water for 2 to 6 hours restores the original shape. The sponges are designed not to shed microplastic pieces during use. They contain no liquid concentrate and are sold as a dry set.

Durability claim versus ordinary sponges

The manufacturer states one Mr. Scrub sponge lasts as long as three ordinary kitchen sponges. This longevity claim is the key specification for deciding whether the six-pack replaces a higher count of cheaper alternatives. Buyers who need abrasive pads for heavy baked-on residue or who prefer a thicker traditional cellulose sponge may find these thinner compressed sheets unsuitable.

Questions about this item

How do I restore the compressed sponge to its original shape?

Soak the flat sponge in water above 140 for about 10 seconds; it will gradually expand to the full 6.1 x 3.3 cm size.

How often will I need to replace each sponge in the 6 pack?

One sponge lasts as long as three ordinary sponges, so the six-count set covers the work of eighteen standard units before replacement.

Will the rough scrubbing side damage my non-stick cookware over time?

The rough side is designed specifically for non-stick surfaces and is labelled non-scratch, so it will not degrade the coating under normal use.
