Eco-friendly Kitchen Cloths

These 3M Swedish dishcloths come in a five-pack of white reusable towels. Each cloth measures 7.8 by 6.8 inches and contains 30 percent cotton with 70 percent cellulose wood pulp. The material is fully compostable within six to eight weeks. They are designed for everyday kitchen cleaning and spill control.

Absorbency and Drying Performance

Each cloth absorbs up to 20 times its weight in water, which is three times more than regular kitchen towels. The fabric dries four times faster than standard towels and remains odour-free. Machine washable and dishwasher safe, each cloth lasts for over 100 washes, replacing up to 17 rolls of paper towels.

Dual-sided Versatile Cleaning

The dual-sided design offers a striped side for wiping delicate surfaces and a diamond texture side for scrubbing tough stains. Safe for use on marble, stainless steel, cutlery, wood, glassware and cookware without scratching. Gentle enough for baby and pet areas. Not suited for buyers who need heavy-duty abrasive scrubbers or disposable single-use wipes.

Questions about this item

How do I start using the 7.8 x 6.8 in cloths, and what step do people skip?

Wet the dry cloth until it softens, then wipe. The step people skip is the first soak; a dry cloth feels stiff and will not absorb properly.

How many washes before the 30% cotton and 70% cellulose cloths need replacing?

Each cloth lasts over 100 machine or dishwasher cycles. With daily use that means several months before replacement.

When does the 20× weight absorbency limit show up during a big spill?

Once saturated the cloth stops taking up liquid. Wring it out to restore capacity; it releases water quickly and resumes absorbing.
