12U Wall-Mount Cabinet

The 4XEM 4XRACK12U is a black steel rack cabinet designed for permanent wall mounting. It supplies 12U of vertical mounting height inside a frame measuring 25.1 inches high, 23.6 inches wide and 17.7 inches deep. The unit weighs approximately 48.5 pounds and carries a maximum load rating of 200 pounds. A lifetime limited warranty is included.

Suited For And Limits

This cabinet suits installers who need a compact, wall-fixed enclosure for network switches, patch panels or shallow servers in offices, server rooms or wiring closets. It is not for buyers who require a freestanding rack, a deeper chassis for full-length servers, a lockable front door or a higher weight capacity than 200 pounds.

12U Rack Height Decides Fit

The 12U internal height is the single specification that determines whether your equipment stack will fit. Measure the combined rack-unit height of every device you plan to install; if the total exceeds 12U you must choose a taller cabinet.

Questions about this item

Will the 12U mounting rails need periodic tightening or replacement?

The 12U rails are fixed steel; inspect bolts annually but no scheduled replacement is required.

What load limit is reached first when the 12U cabinet is fully populated?

The 200 lb maximum weight capacity is the limiting factor before the 12U space fills.

How much heat builds up inside the 17.7" deep enclosure during continuous operation?

Passive ventilation relies on the 17.7" depth; active cooling must be added for high-density gear.
