9U Wall-Mount Rack with Swing Gate

This 9U wall-mount server rack fits standard 19-inch equipment and features a bidirectional swing gate for rear access from either side. It is designed for home networks and small office installations where floor space is limited. Assembly takes less than 10 minutes using the included wall-mount screws and washers.

16-Inch Stud Spacing and Included Hardware

The mounting holes are spaced 16 inches apart to align directly with typical wall studs, eliminating the need for an extra stud required by 17.5-inch patterns. Supplied screws and washers allow immediate secure attachment to the wall. The swing mechanism simplifies equipment installation, maintenance, and replacement in tight spaces.

12.4 to 14.6-Inch Adjustable Depth

Usable depth adjusts from 12.4 inches to 14.6 inches to accommodate varying equipment sizes. The top and bottom rack units are recommended for devices shallower than 12.4 inches to prevent braces from blocking deeper units when the gate swings out. This depth range suits patch panels, switches, and shallow servers.

Questions about this item

How often will the swing-gate hinges or wall-mount hardware need checking or replacement?

The 16-inch stud-spaced mounting holes use the included screws and washers; no hinge-service interval is specified, so inspect fasteners only if movement feels loose.

What depth limit stops a 19-inch device from swinging fully open?

Usable depth is 12.4 to 14.6 inches; the top and bottom U spaces are recommended for devices under 12.4 inches deep to avoid brace interference.

How much heat builds up inside the 9U cabinet when gear runs continuously?

The open-frame swing design relies on passive airflow; no active cooling or thermal rating is provided, so monitor equipment temperatures directly.
