Indoor pet camera with 10TB storage

The A12 system combines a single 8-megapixel wireless camera with a built-in 10TB hard drive for continuous local recording. It streams 1080p video over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and connects to a mobile app for live viewing and motion alerts. The package includes one square-box camera, a USB cable and the recorder unit measuring 14.33in W x 12.83in H x 9.06in D. Buyers needing multi-camera coverage or 5GHz Wi-Fi support should look elsewhere.

120° lens and infrared night vision

The bundled camera provides a 120-degree wide-angle view and enhanced infrared LEDs for low-light monitoring. Motion detection compares consecutive frames and pushes notifications to the app when activity is detected, reducing time spent reviewing idle footage. A USB backup port allows footage export without removing the internal drive. Users who require two-way audio or pan-tilt control will not find those functions here.

Plug-in power and 2.4GHz setup

The camera must remain connected to a stable power source for 24/7 operation; the compact battery is not intended for standalone use. Initial pairing uses 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for faster configuration, then the app handles remote access. Installation is freestanding with no wall-mount hardware supplied. Renters or anyone needing battery-only placement will find this unsuitable.

Questions about this item

How often will the 10TB hard drive need to be replaced or maintained?

The 10TB hard drive is built for continuous 24/7 recording; under normal use it should last several years before any replacement is considered.

What limit appears first when the camera records continuously at 1080p?

The 10TB drive capacity is the first limit; once full the system overwrites the oldest footage automatically.

How much heat or noise does the unit produce when running all day?

The freestanding unit uses passive cooling and a low-power design, so it runs silently and stays only slightly warm during 24/7 operation.
