Genuine Acer 65W 19V Yellow-Tip Adapter

This genuine Acer AC adapter delivers 65 watts at 19 volts with a 3.42 amp output. It accepts a universal 100 to 240 volt input at 50 to 60 hertz. The distinctive yellow tip identifies the connector for compatible Extensa laptops. The unit is supplied new and ready for immediate use.

Power Cord Inclusion by Region

Orders shipped to the US and Canada include both the adapter and a matching power cord. Shipments to all other destinations receive the adapter only because the correct regional cord cannot be supplied. Buyers outside North America must source a suitable mains lead separately. This regional difference is the only accessory variation.

For Extensa Owners Needing a 65W Replacement

The adapter fits the extensive Extensa series listed, including models such as the 2300, 4100, 5200, 5630 and 7630 families. It is not suitable for laptops that require a different voltage, wattage or tip colour. Buyers who need a higher-output charger or a non-yellow connector should look at other options.

Questions about this item

How often will the yellow-tip connector need replacing?

The yellow-tip connector is built into the adapter cable and has no separate replacement schedule; treat the whole unit as the serviceable part.

What thermal limit appears first when the 65W adapter runs continuously at full load?

The adapter is rated for 100-240V input at 1.6A and 19V 3.42A output; sustained full-load operation will reach its designed thermal ceiling before any current limit trips.

How much fan noise and heat does the 19V 3.42A brick produce during all-day use?

This adapter has no fan; it relies on passive convection, so it runs silently and becomes warm to the touch under continuous 65W load.
