Ready-to-install 180 W replacement lamp

This 180 W Acer EC.JBU00.001 replacement module ships as a complete bulb-and-housing assembly, so it drops straight into the projector without extra assembly. It uses an Osram P-VIP bulb and is built to ISO 9001 quality checks for beam performance and ignition reliability.

Verify the exact projector model before ordering

Confirm that your Acer projector lists EC.JBU00.001 as the correct lamp part number, because the same housing can fit several sub-models with different electrical requirements. Using the wrong module can cause immediate ignition failure or premature dimming.

Steady output over thousands of hours

In normal mode the lamp is rated for 3,000 hours and in economy mode for 5,000 hours, reflecting sustained brightness rather than a short peak. The Osram P-VIP bulb maintains stable voltage and colour balance throughout that span, reducing the need for frequent replacements.

Questions about this item

Does the Acer EC.JBU00.001 lamp module include the housing or just the bare bulb?

The module arrives as a fully assembled 180W Osram P-VIP bulb inside its housing, so no separate housing purchase is needed.

What is the difference between the OEM and compatible versions of the EC.JBU00.001?

Three OEM versions use bulbs from Philips, Osram or Ushio — one matches the original projector manufacturer — while the compatible version uses genuine OEM parts from a leading third-party maker.

How many hours can I expect from the 180W lamp in normal and economy modes?

Rated life is 3,000 hours in normal mode and 5,000 hours in economy mode.
