15.6" QHD 240Hz gaming laptop

The 15.6 inch display delivers a 2560 by 1440 resolution at a 240Hz refresh rate for smooth competitive play. An Intel Core i7-12700H processor with 14 cores and 20 threads reaches a 4.7 GHz turbo frequency. An NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card with 8 GB GDDR6 memory runs at a 150W TGP and a 1510 MHz boost clock. The system ships with Windows 11 Home installed.

Thermals and power under load

HIDevolution applies upgraded thermal interface materials to lower system temperatures and prevent throttling during intensive CPU and GPU tasks. The tuning also minimises fan noise while maximising reliability for sustained sessions. The RTX 3070 Ti operates at a 150W maximum TGP, drawing significant power when pushed. The 14 core processor scales up to its 4.7 GHz turbo under heavy workloads.

Build integration and expandability

The chassis measures 14.10 by 10.90 by 0.98 to 1.02 inches and weighs 5.73 lbs for portable setups. Storage uses a 1 TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD for fast boot and load times. Memory comprises 16 GB of DDR5 4800MHz dual channel RAM in a 2 x 8 GB configuration. Connectivity includes LAN and WLAN for network flexibility.

Questions about this item

How do I install additional DDR5 4800MHz memory in the laptop and what step do people miss?

Remove the bottom panel, insert the SO-DIMM at an angle until it clicks, then press down firmly; the step most people miss is fully seating the module so both retention clips lock.

When will the 1 TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD need replacement?

The drive has no moving parts and no scheduled replacement interval; monitor SMART health in Windows and replace only if reallocated sectors or wear-level warnings appear.

What limit appears first during sustained gaming on the RTX 3070 Ti?

The GPU hits its 150 W TGP ceiling, causing clock throttling and rising skin temperatures before the CPU reaches its 4.7 GHz turbo ceiling.
