15.6 QHD 240Hz Gaming Laptop

The Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-55-795C-HID1P is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop built around a 2560 x 1440 IPS panel running at 240Hz. It targets players who want high refresh rates at QHD resolution in a portable chassis. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed. The black finish keeps the look understated for mixed environments.

Core i7-12700H RTX 3070 Ti Platform

An Intel Core i7-12700H with 14 cores and 20 threads pairs with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti carrying 8 GB GDDR6 at a 150W max TGP. System memory is 16 GB DDR5 4800MHz in dual channel. Storage uses a 1 TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD. The platform needs no external GPU dock or extra RAM sticks for current titles.

Sustained Load Thermal Management

Upgraded thermal interface materials aim to lower system temperatures and prevent throttling during extended CPU and GPU intensive sessions. Burn-in stress testing verifies stability before shipment. The 150W GPU power limit and 4.7 GHz max turbo frequency are sustained by the revised cooling stack rather than a short burst. Fan noise is minimised while reliability is maximised under continuous load.

Questions about this item

Will the 15.6" QHD 240Hz screen run at its full refresh rate with the RTX 3070 Ti?

Yes, the RTX 3070 Ti with 8GB GDDR6 drives the 2560 x 1440 panel at up to 240Hz in supported titles.

Can I add more memory later and what type does it take?

The laptop uses DDR5 4800MHz SO-DIMMs in dual channel; two slots are populated with 8GB modules so you can replace them with higher capacity sticks.

Is there a free M.2 slot for a second NVMe drive?

The specifications list one 1TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD; a second M.2 slot is not confirmed in the supplied data.
