Acer Predator Helios 300 gaming laptop

This 15.6-inch system targets gamers and creators who need high frame rates on a QHD panel. The Intel Core i7-12700H processor with 14 cores and 20 threads reaches a max turbo frequency of 4.7 GHz for demanding workloads. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and ready to use.

240 Hz QHD display with RTX 3070 Ti graphics

The 2560 x 1440 IPS screen refreshes at 240 Hz for smooth motion in competitive titles. An NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti with 8 GB GDDR6 video memory and a 150 W max TGP drives the panel at high detail settings. This GPU and screen combination is the primary factor for deciding if the laptop fits your performance target.

Factory upgraded memory and storage with full QC

HIDevolution installs 32 GB of DDR5 4800 MHz dual-channel RAM and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD before shipment. Each unit passes burn-in stress testing, BIOS and driver updates, and a physical chassis inspection to reduce defect-on-arrival risk. Upgraded thermal interface materials help manage temperatures during extended loads.

Questions about this item

How does the 4.7 GHz turbo frequency behave once the i7-12700H is inside this laptop?

The 14-core, 20-thread processor can reach 4.7 GHz on its fastest cores when thermal headroom allows; upgraded thermal materials help sustain higher clocks longer during heavy CPU and GPU loads.

What does the PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe interface actually deliver for the 1 TB SSD in this system?

The drive runs at PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe speeds, giving the fastest boot and load times the platform supports; real-world throughput is capped by the drive's own controller and the chipset lanes.

Will the 32 GB DDR5 4800 MHz kit (2 x 16 GB) fit the SO-DIMM slots without clearance issues?

Yes, the dual-channel kit uses standard SO-DIMM form factor and installs directly into the two memory slots; no extra height or voltage adapters are required.
