15.6" QHD 240Hz gaming laptop

The Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-55-795C-HID7 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop built around a 2560 x 1440 resolution IPS panel with a 240Hz refresh rate. It runs Windows 11 Home on an Intel Core i7-12700H 14 core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card. The system targets gamers and content creators who need high frame rates on a portable 5.73 lb chassis.

32 GB DDR5 4800MHz and 2 TB PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD

Memory comes as 32 GB of dual channel DDR5 4800MHz RAM installed in two 16 GB modules. The 2 TB NVMe solid state drive provides fast boot and load times for large game libraries and project files. Demanding titles at QHD resolution with high settings fit comfortably within the 8 GB GDDR6 video memory, while heavy multitasking or virtual machines may approach the 32 GB system memory ceiling.

Upgraded thermal materials

HIDevolution replaces stock thermal interface materials to lower temperatures and reduce fan noise under sustained CPU and GPU loads. Each unit receives a full quality check including BIOS and driver updates, burn-in stress testing, benchmark validation, and physical inspection. The jump from a standard configuration is worth it when you need guaranteed stability and cooler operation out of the box without manual repasting or tuning.

Questions about this item

Can I keep using my existing SATA SSD alongside the 2 TB PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe drive in this PH315-55-795C-HID7?

The laptop ships with a 2 TB M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD. Additional SATA storage can be added if a free 2.5-inch bay and SATA connector are present on this chassis.

How do I confirm the 240 Hz QHD panel and RTX 3070 Ti are running at their rated speeds after setup?

Open the NVIDIA control panel to verify the GPU boost clock reaches 1510 MHz and set the display refresh rate to 240 Hz in Windows display settings.

What memory and storage are already installed, and what must I purchase separately for expansion?

The unit includes 32 GB of DDR5 4800 MHz memory in two 16 GB modules and a 2 TB PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD. Extra DDR5 SODIMMs or another M.2 NVMe drive would be needed for upgrades.
