Acer V12S Replacement Lamp Module

This lamp module fits Acer projectors that use the V12S designation. It arrives as a fully assembled bulb and housing so the projector can be restored to working order without extra assembly. The unit is new and intended for owners who need a direct replacement for a dim or failed original lamp. Buyers who want a bare bulb without the housing should look elsewhere.

Ready-to-Install Housing Design

The lamp ships pre-mounted in its housing, which removes the handling steps that often cause misalignment or fingerprint contamination on the burner. Installation typically involves opening the projector's lamp door, releasing the securing screws, swapping the module and resetting the hour counter. The most common issue is forgetting to reset the timer, which leaves the projector warning of an expired lamp even though the new unit is fitted.

Verify Projector Compatibility First

Check the projector's service manual or label to confirm it accepts the V12S module and the 140 - 215W P-VIP burner. The rated life is 3,000 hours in normal mode and 4,000 hours in economy mode, so ensure the projector's power settings match the expected usage pattern. Projectors that require a different wattage range or lamp code will not operate correctly with this module.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the V12S lamp is working correctly after installation?

The projector should ignite without flickering and display a stable image; the lamp timer will then count up to 3,000 hours in Normal mode or 4,000 hours in Economy mode.

What comes in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The module ships as a complete assembly with the Osram P-VIP 140 - 215W bulb already mounted in its housing, so no extra parts are needed for installation.

Which V12S version should I choose among the OEM and compatible options?

All four versions meet ISO 9001 standards and use genuine OEM components; select the original Osram OEM module for exact factory performance or a compatible version for a lower cost.
