Processor and graphics

The Acer Nitro 5 AN515-58-7583 gaming laptop combines a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700H processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU. It is built for players who want high frame rates on a 15.6 inch QHD panel. The system includes 32GB of DDR4 3200MHz memory and a 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD array in RAID 0.

Display and connectivity check

Before ordering, verify that a 15.6 inch QHD IPS screen with a 165Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time matches your visual expectations. Confirm that the port selection — including a USB Type-C USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, HDMI, Ethernet E2600 and Killer Wi-Fi 6 1650 — covers the peripherals and network links you use daily.

Build integration

The chassis uses dual-fan cooling with dual intakes and a quad-exhaust layout to manage thermals. A MUX switch lets you disable integrated graphics for a performance lift in games. Two DDR4 slots are populated at the 32GB maximum. Storage uses two M.2 slots for the RAID 0 array; a 2.5 inch drive bay remains open for extra capacity. NitroSense software provides temperature, fan and power monitoring via a dedicated keyboard button.

Questions about this item

Does the laptop ship with 32GB of DDR4 3200MHz memory already installed, or do I need to add modules myself?

The system includes 32GB of DDR4 3200MHz memory across both slots, so no extra RAM is required.

Is the 2TB storage a single drive or the dual 1TB RAID 0 array described in the specifications?

It is a 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD in RAID 0, built from two 1TB M.2 drives.

How does the 165Hz QHD panel with 3ms response time affect motion clarity in fast games?

The high refresh rate and low response time reduce motion blur, making fast-paced action appear smoother on the 15.6-inch display.
