Westcott Guillotine Trimmer 14x25

The Acme United ACM16875 is a heavy-duty paper trimmer built for home, office and crafting use. Carbotitanium bonded blades cut up to 30 sheets of 20 lb paper in a single pass. A contemporary gray design includes an alignment grid with US and metric markings for precise measuring.

Cutting capacity and safety limits

The trimmer handles thick cardstock, multiple photos and layered paper up to the rated 30-sheet maximum. A safety guard protects fingers while the blade is in use and a safety lock secures the blade during transport or storage. These features define the practical operating envelope for the device.

Setup and common issues

The unit arrives assembled and sold as 1 each, so no complex installation is required beyond placing it on a stable surface. The soft-touch non-slip handle aids control during operation. Misalignment can occur if the grid is not referenced before each cut and the lock must be disengaged before use.

Questions about this item

What does the 14 inch width mean for the paper sizes I can trim?

The 14 inch cutting width handles standard letter and A4 sheets with room for wider formats up to 14 inches across.

How does the 30 sheet capacity work when I am cutting cardstock or photos?

The 30 sheet rating applies to 20 lb paper; thicker cardstock or photo stacks will cut cleanly but in smaller batches per pass.

What does the Carbotitanium bonded blade actually do compared with a regular steel blade?

The bonded coating makes the edge 8x harder than plain steel so it stays sharp longer through heavy daily use.
