12-Speaker In-Ceiling Set for Whole-Home Audio

The Acoustic Audio R191 pack contains twelve passive 5.25" two-way speakers designed for flush mounting in ceilings or walls. Each unit uses a polypropylene cone woofer with butyl rubber surround and a 12mm soft dome tweeter to deliver a frequency response of 45Hz-22 kHz at 95dB sensitivity. The low-profile ABS housings and removable grilles can be painted to match any décor.

These speakers have no internal amplification; they must be driven by a home audio receiver or amplifier with raw speaker wire outputs. The manufacturer specifies that connected amplifier power should be no less than 10 watts and no more than 200 watts per channel. CL3-rated in-wall speaker wire is required for the connection between the receiver and each speaker location.

Verify 6.61" Cut-Out and 2.8" Mounting Depth

Installation uses a Pressure Lock Mounting System that clamps to drywall without separate hardware, but the ceiling or wall cavity must accommodate a 6.61" diameter hole and at least 2.8" of clearance behind the mounting surface.
