24-Core Workstation for CAD Modelling

This new tower workstation targets engineers running SolidWorks, CAM and CAE workflows. It pairs a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K with 64 GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell GPU carrying 32 GB of video memory. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed.

Sustained Load Behaviour

A 360 mm liquid cooler handles the CPU while the case supplies three 120 mm front fans, one 120 mm PSU shroud fan and a 140 mm rear fan. The 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply includes over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection for continuous operation.

Build Quality and Connectivity

The Antec P10 FLUX chassis adds a sound-dampening panel and a fan-control button on the front I/O alongside two USB 3.0 ports and HD audio. Rear I/O provides USB Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 and four USB 2.0 ports plus Intel 2.5 Gb Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6 and BLUETOOTH 5.2. Internal expansion includes four SATA 6 Gb/s ports and three M.2 connectors.

Questions about this item

How loud does the 360 mm liquid cooler and the 140 mm PSU fan get when the 24-core i9-14900K runs at full load all day?

The 360 mm quiet-edition AIO and the 140 mm PSU fan are both designed for low-noise operation, while the Antec P10 FLUX case adds sound-dampening panels to keep acoustic output minimal during sustained workloads.

Which display cables and monitor inputs do I need to use the RTX PRO 4500 32 GB GPU?

The RTX PRO 4500 uses standard DisplayPort and HDMI outputs, so you will need a monitor with matching inputs and the appropriate DisplayPort or HDMI cables, which are not included with the workstation.

Will my existing SATA SSDs and 3.5-inch hard drives fit inside the case alongside the installed 10 TB drive?

Yes, the chassis provides three internal 3.5-inch bays and three 2.5-inch bays, plus four SATA 6 Gb/s ports on the Z790 motherboard, so additional SATA drives can be installed alongside the factory 10 TB HDD.
