24-Core Threadripper Workstation

This Adamant Custom tower pairs a 24-core AMD Threadripper 9960X processor with 64 GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia RTX 5070 12 GB GPU. It targets professionals who need certified stability for rendering, simulation and AI-ready workloads in a single Windows 11 Pro system.

Liquid Cooling and 1200 W Gold PSU

A 360 mm quiet-edition liquid cooler handles the CPU while a 140 mm fan in the 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold power supply keeps internal airflow low-noise. Front and rear 120 mm case fans move air through the Corsair 5000D Frame chassis without adding audible distraction during sustained compute tasks.

Dual NVMe PRO SSDs and 10 TB HDD

Two Samsung 990 PRO drives deliver 2 TB and 4 TB of PCIe 4.0 x4 storage with sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s. A 10 TB SATA III hard drive with 256 MB cache adds high-capacity bulk storage for project archives and datasets.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360 mm liquid cooler on the sTR5 socket, and what step is often missed?

Mount the supplied sTR5 bracket, apply paste, seat the cold-plate, then connect the pump header and the three 120 mm radiator fans to the motherboard fan headers so the BIOS can control pump and fan speeds together.

Which component will need replacement first under heavy write workloads?

The 2 TB and 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSDs have finite write endurance; the 10 TB SATA HDD with 256 MB cache will typically outlast them for bulk storage.

What thermal limit appears first during sustained all-core loads on the 24-core Threadripper 9960X?

The 360 mm AIO can dissipate the 4.2 GHz base load, but prolonged boost toward 5.3 GHz will hit the coolant temperature ceiling before the CPU throttles.
