24-Core Threadripper Workstation

The Adamant Custom workstation centres on a 24-core AMD Threadripper 9960X processor with a 4.2 GHz base clock and up to 5.3 GHz boost. 64 GB of DDR5 ECC memory and a 360 mm liquid cooler keep sustained workloads stable. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and an Nvidia RTX A400 4 GB GPU for professional visualisation tasks.

TRX50 Platform Connectivity

The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard provides four M.2 slots, eight SATA 6 Gb/s ports and extensive USB 3.2 Gen 2, Gen 1 and USB 2.0 headers. Dual LAN ports and rear USB4 Type-C ports handle network and peripheral traffic. A 1200 W 80 Plus Gold power supply with a 140 mm fan delivers protected power to every component.

10 TB NVMe Plus 10 TB HDD Storage

Three Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives (2 TB, 4 TB, 4 TB) combine for 10 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage with sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s. A 10 TB SATA HDD with 256 MB cache adds bulk capacity for archives. Builders needing more than four M.2 devices or additional 3.5-inch bays will need to expand externally.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler keep the Threadripper 9960X from throttling during long renders?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO is paired with a 24-core 4.2 GHz Threadripper 9960X that boosts to 5.3 GHz, so sustained loads stay within thermal limits without throttling.

How loud is the system when the 1200 W PSU and case fans run continuously?

The Thermaltake 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold unit uses a 140 mm ultra-quiet fan, while the Corsair 5000D FRAME includes front and rear 120 mm fans for low-noise airflow all day.

Does the motherboard provide enough M.2 slots for the three Samsung 990 PRO drives already installed?

The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D board includes four M.2 connectors, so the three factory NVMe SSDs occupy three slots and one remains free for expansion.
