24-Core Threadripper PRO Workstation

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 24-core AMD Threadripper PRO 9965WX running at 4.2 GHz with 64 GB of DDR5 ECC memory. It targets professionals who need sustained multi-thread throughput for rendering, simulation or large-scale data analysis. The Windows 11 Pro installation is ready for immediate deployment in studio or lab environments. Builders requiring a second GPU or more than 64 GB of RAM will need a different chassis.

6 TB NVMe plus 10 TB HDD

Two Samsung 990 PRO drives deliver 2 TB and 4 TB of PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe storage with sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s. A 10 TB SATA III hard drive adds 256 MB cache for bulk archives and project libraries. The combined 16 TB raw capacity handles active working sets and long-term retention without external arrays. Users needing faster-than-SATA bulk storage or more than two M.2 slots populated should plan expansion elsewhere.

360 mm AIO and 1200 W Gold PSU

A 360 mm quiet-edition liquid cooler keeps the 24-core CPU within thermal limits during extended all-core loads. The Thermaltake 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold supply uses Japanese main capacitors and a 140 mm low-noise fan, providing overhead for the RTX PRO 2000 16 GB GPU and all drives. Front and rear 120 mm case fans maintain positive airflow through the Corsair 5000D Frame chassis. Acoustic output remains low enough for desk-side placement in quiet offices.

Questions about this item

Will the TRX50 AERO D motherboard and 1200W PSU support my existing PCIe 4.0 NVMe drives and SATA SSDs?

The motherboard provides four M.2 connectors and eight SATA 6Gb/s ports, so current PCIe 4.0 NVMe drives and SATA SSDs connect directly. The 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU supplies ample power for additional drives.

How can I verify the Threadripper PRO 9965WX is hitting its 5.3 GHz boost and the RTX PRO 2000 is recognised with 16GB VRAM?

Open Task Manager or HWMonitor to confirm the CPU reaches 5.3 GHz under load and shows 24 cores with 48 threads. In Device Manager or GPU-Z the RTX PRO 2000 should list 16GB dedicated video memory.

Which drives, cooler and power supply are already installed, and what must I add for extra storage?

The system ships with a 2TB Samsung 990 PRO, a 4TB Samsung 990 PRO, a 10TB SATA HDD, a 360mm liquid CPU cooler and a 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU. Four 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch bays remain free for additional drives.
