32-Core Threadripper Workstation

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 32-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9970X with 64GB DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia Geforce RTX 5070 12GB graphics card. Six terabytes of Samsung 990 PRO NVMe storage and a 10TB SATA hard drive provide capacity for large datasets. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

Sustained thermal performance

A 360mm AIO quiet-edition cooler keeps the CPU stable at its 4.0GHz base clock and up to 5.4GHz boost during extended render or compute sessions. The Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W 80 PLUS Gold supply delivers continuous power with Japanese main capacitors and a low-noise 140mm fan. Case airflow uses front and rear 120mm fans in a Corsair 5000D chassis.

ECC memory and TRX50 platform

The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard supports registered ECC DDR5 across four channels, protecting data integrity in scientific or financial workloads. Four M.2 slots and eight SATA 6Gb/s ports allow further storage expansion without sacrificing the existing 6TB NVMe array. Dual LAN ports and extensive USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectivity serve peripheral-heavy setups.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 360 mm liquid cooler keep the 32-core Threadripper 9970X when the workstation runs all day?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO is designed for low noise; the 140 mm PSU fan also runs quietly, while the Corsair 5000D case provides front and rear 120 mm airflow to manage heat from the 1200 W Gold supply.

What must I already own for this Windows 11 Pro tower to be usable the moment it arrives?

Only a display with a compatible video input, plus a keyboard and mouse; the system ships with OS, 64 GB DDR5 ECC, 6 TB NVMe storage, 10 TB SATA HDD and RTX 5070 12 GB GPU already installed.

Will my older SATA III hard drives and USB 3.0 peripherals work alongside the new TRX50 motherboard and dual NVMe SSDs?

Yes — the board offers eight SATA 6 Gb/s ports for legacy drives, plus rear USB 3.2 Gen 1, Gen 2 and USB4 Type-C ports, and front-panel USB 3.0, 3.1 Type-C for existing devices.
