64-Core Threadripper PRO Workstation

This liquid-cooled desktop pairs a 64-core AMD Threadripper PRO 9985WX processor with 256GB of DDR5 ECC memory. It targets professionals running multi-threaded simulations, rendering pipelines or large-scale data analysis that demand sustained CPU throughput. The 1200W 80 PLUS Gold power supply and 360mm AIO cooler support continuous high-load operation. Buyers needing a compact tower or single-threaded gaming performance should look elsewhere.

Dual NVMe plus 10TB HDD storage

A 2TB and a 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive deliver up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write speeds for active project files. The 10TB SATA III hard drive adds deep capacity for archives and bulk datasets. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on the fast SSD tier. Users who require hardware RAID or U.2 bays will not find them here.

Corsair 5000D Frame with extensive I/O

The tempered-glass chassis measures 520 x 245 x 520 mm and includes front 120mm intake, rear 120mm exhaust and a 140mm PSU fan. Rear I/O provides two USB4 Type-C, four USB 3.2 Gen 2, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 and dual LAN ports. Internal bays support two 3.5-inch and four 2.5-inch drives. Builders needing E-ATX motherboard clearance or front-panel USB4 should verify compatibility.

Questions about this item

How often should the liquid cooler on the Threadripper 9985WX be serviced?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO is a sealed unit and does not require routine fluid changes; only dust the radiator fans periodically.

What limits sustained all-core performance on the 64-core Threadripper 9985WX?

The CPU can boost up to 5.4 GHz, but the 360 mm liquid cooler and 1200 W PSU set the practical thermal and power ceiling during prolonged loads.

How loud and hot does the workstation get when running 24/7?

The 140 mm PSU fan and AIO radiator fans are rated ultra-quiet; the 1200 W Gold PSU and liquid cooler keep component temperatures controlled under continuous operation.
