64-Core Threadripper PRO Workstation

This liquid-cooled desktop pairs a 64-core AMD Threadripper PRO 9985WX processor with 256 GB of DDR5 ECC memory. It is built for professionals running heavily threaded workloads such as simulation, rendering or large-scale data analysis. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed.

10 TB NVMe plus 10 TB HDD capacity

Three Samsung 990 PRO drives deliver 10 TB of combined PCIe 4.0 NVMe storage with sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s. A 10 TB SATA III hard drive adds bulk capacity for archives. Projects exceeding the active NVMe pool must spill to the slower mechanical tier.

360 mm AIO cooler and 1200 W Gold PSU

The CPU uses a 360 mm quiet-edition liquid cooler inside a Corsair 5000D Frame case with front and rear 120 mm fans. A Thermaltake Toughpower 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold supply with a 140 mm fan powers the platform. Under sustained full-core loads the cooling solution remains the limiting thermal factor.

Questions about this item

Will the sTR5 socket and 64-core Threadripper PRO 9985WX work with my existing TRX40 motherboard?

No, the Threadripper PRO 9985WX requires the new sTR5 socket found on the included GIGABYTE TRX50 AERO D motherboard and is not compatible with older TRX40 boards.

How can I verify the 256GB DDR5 ECC memory and triple Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSDs are detected correctly after first boot?

Open Windows Task Manager Performance tab to confirm 256GB DDR5 appears, then check Disk Management for three NVMe volumes totalling 10TB (2TB + 4TB + 4TB) at PCIe 4.0 speeds.

What drives and cooling are already installed versus what I must add myself?

The workstation ships with a 360mm liquid CPU cooler, 2TB + 4TB + 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSDs, a 10TB SATA III HDD, 256GB DDR5 ECC RAM, RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GPU, 1200W PSU and Windows 11 Pro pre-installed; no extra parts are required for operation.
