Built for heavy compute

This 64-core Threadripper workstation targets professionals who run large simulations, render farms or AI training workloads. The 512GB DDR5 ECC memory and dual NVMe drives give headroom for massive datasets. Windows 11 Pro is installed and ready for production use. It is not for buyers who only need general office performance.

Fits a full-tower workflow

The Corsair 5000D frame supplies internal bays for two 3.5-inch and four 2.5-inch drives, so additional bulk storage can be added later. Front-panel USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 Type-C ports keep peripherals accessible. Rear I/O adds two USB4 Type-C and eight USB 3.2 ports for high-speed devices. The 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU powers the CPU, RTX 5070 GPU and all drives without extra cables.

Liquid CPU cooling keeps thermals steady

A 360mm quiet-edition AIO handles the 64-core processor while a 140mm PSU fan and single 120mm front and rear case fans move air through the chassis. Under typical load the system runs at low noise levels thanks to the liquid loop and Gold-rated supply efficiency. Power draw scales with the 128-thread CPU and 12GB GPU but stays within the 1200W budget.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler keep the 64-core Threadripper PRO 9985WX from throttling during long renders?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO is designed for the 9985WX and its 5.4 GHz boost, so sustained all-core loads stay within thermal limits without throttling.

How loud is the system when the 1200 W PSU and case fans run continuously?

The PSU uses a 140 mm ultra-quiet fan and the case includes only two 120 mm fans, so idle and load noise remains low for a 1200 W workstation.

Does the motherboard provide enough M.2 slots for both Samsung 990 PRO drives plus future expansion?

The TRX50 AERO D board has four M.2 connectors; two are occupied by the 2 TB and 4 TB 990 PRO SSDs, leaving two open for additional NVMe storage.
