Questions about this item

What PCIe generation do the two Samsung 990 PRO M.2 SSDs use, and what sequential speeds does that limit them to?

The drives run over PCIe 4.0 x4, capping sequential reads at 7450 MB/s and writes at 6900 MB/s.

What case and motherboard combination determines physical clearance for this build?

A Corsair 7000D AIRFLOW full tower houses the Pro WS WRX90E-SAGE SE motherboard, providing six 2.5/3.5-inch combo bays and 360 mm radiator support.

How is the 360 mm liquid cooler mounted, and which step is commonly missed?

The radiator installs in the front of the 7000D with three 140 mm fans; the step often missed is connecting the pump tach cable to the CPU_FAN header so the BIOS sees the pump speed.
