32-Core Threadripper Workstation for AI and Compute

The Adamant Custom tower pairs a 32-core AMD Threadripper 9970X processor with 64GB of DDR5 ECC memory. A GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card with 32GB of video memory handles GPU-accelerated workloads. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

PCIe 4.0 NVMe and SATA III Storage Limits

Two Samsung 990 PRO SSDs deliver up to 7450 MB/sec sequential read and 6900 MB/sec write across a combined 6TB of NVMe capacity. A 10TB hard drive adds bulk storage over a SATA III interface. Four additional M.2 connectors and eight SATA ports on the motherboard allow further expansion.

1600W 80+ Titanium Power Supply for Full Load

The Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 unit provides 1600 watts with 80+ Titanium efficiency and Japanese main capacitors. Over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection safeguard the CPU, GPU and storage array under sustained load. A 140mm fan keeps acoustic output low.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2TB or 4TB NVMe drive for the OS and active projects?

The system ships with both a 2TB and a 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD; the 2TB drive is ideal for the OS and current workload, while the 4TB drive adds capacity for larger datasets.

What does the 5.4GHz boost clock mean for single-threaded tasks in this workstation?

The Threadripper 9970X can reach 5.4GHz on lightly threaded workloads, giving snappy response for CAD viewport interaction and compile bursts while the 32 cores handle parallel renders.

Does the PCIe 4.0x4 link on the NVMe drives cap their 7450 MB/s read speed in practice?

Each 990 PRO runs on a PCIe 4.0x4 lane, so the quoted 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write are the practical ceiling for sustained transfers.
