64-Core Threadripper Workstation

This new Adamant Custom desktop pairs a 64-core AMD Threadripper 9980X processor with 512GB of DDR5 ECC memory. Liquid cooling keeps the CPU stable under sustained multi-threaded loads. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and dual LAN ports for network redundancy.

TRX50 Platform with Quad-Channel DDR5

The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard provides the socket sTR5 interface and quad-channel memory architecture that the 64-core processor requires. Four M.2 connectors and eight SATA 6Gb/s ports are available for further expansion.

6TB NVMe Plus 10TB HDD Storage

Two Samsung 990 PRO drives deliver 6TB of combined NVMe capacity with sequential reads up to 7450 MB/sec. The 10TB SATA HDD adds bulk archive space. Builds needing more than 512GB RAM or multiple GPUs will exceed this platform.

Questions about this item

What does 64 cores and 128 threads mean for a real workstation workload?

The 64-core Threadripper 9980X at 3.2 GHz base with up to 5.4 GHz boost and 256 MB L3 cache lets you run heavy multi-threaded tasks such as simulation, rendering or compilation across 128 threads simultaneously.

What PCIe generation do the M.2 slots use and what speed does that cap the Samsung 990 PRO drives at?

The TRX50 AERO D motherboard provides PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 connectors, so each 990 PRO tops out at 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write.

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler and the Corsair 5000D frame fit together without clearance issues?

Yes, the 360 mm AIO is designed for the 5000D frame which measures 520 mm deep, 245 mm wide and 520 mm high and includes front and rear 120 mm fan mounts.
