Built for 64-core workloads

This workstation pairs a 64-core AMD Threadripper PRO 9985WX processor with 128GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia RTX 5070 12GB graphics card. The combination targets professionals running multi-threaded simulations, large-scale rendering or AI model training that demand high core counts and error-correcting memory. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Check power and drive bays before ordering

The system draws power from a 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU and requires a standard mains connection. Internal storage uses three M.2 slots occupied by Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives totalling 10TB and one 10TB SATA III hard drive. Verify that your environment can accommodate a tower measuring 520 x 245 x 520 mm and that any external peripherals match the rear USB4, USB 3.2 Gen 2, USB 3.2 Gen 1 and dual LAN ports.

Liquid CPU cooling with a 360 mm radiator

A 360 mm quiet-edition AIO cooler handles the 64-core CPU while two 120 mm case fans and a 140 mm PSU fan manage chassis airflow. The PSU includes over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection. Under typical workstation loads the liquid loop keeps CPU temperatures stable and the fan curve remains low, so acoustic output stays subdued in office or studio settings.

Questions about this item

What comes inside the Corsair 5000D case and what must I add myself?

The workstation ships fully assembled with the Threadripper PRO 9985WX, 128GB DDR5 ECC, three Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives totalling 10TB, a 10TB SATA HDD, RTX 5070 12GB GPU, 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU and 360mm liquid cooler. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed. No extra parts are required for operation.

Should I choose the 2TB or 4TB NVMe module for my primary scratch disk?

The build already includes one 2TB and two 4TB Samsung 990 PRO drives. Use the 2TB drive for the OS and active project files; the 4TB pairs suit large datasets and long-term storage. All three run at PCIe 4.0x4 with 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write.

How does the 64-core Threadripper PRO 9985WX behave inside this liquid-cooled tower?

The 3.2GHz base clock boosts to 5.4GHz across 64 cores and 128 threads with 256MB L3 cache. The 360mm AIO keeps thermals stable during sustained all-core loads such as rendering, simulation or AI training, while the 1200W Gold PSU delivers clean power headroom.
