Build integration and expansion

A Seasonic Prime TX-1600 1600 W 80+ Titanium PSU powers the platform while a 360 mm liquid cooler handles CPU thermals inside a Corsair 7000D Airflow full-tower case. Storage combines a 4 TB Samsung 990 Pro NVMe drive with a 10 TB SATA HDD. The Pro WS WRX90E-SAGE SE motherboard provides four M.2 slots four SATA ports and six internal drive bays for further expansion. Front I/O includes one USB 3.1 Type-C four USB 3.0 ports and audio jacks.

Ideal users and limits

This configuration suits studios running large-model training complex simulation or multi-GPU rendering pipelines that benefit from 96 GB VRAM and 256 GB ECC RAM. Buyers who need more than one graphics card should verify chassis clearance and power headroom before ordering. Teams requiring rackmount form factor or redundant power supplies will need a different platform. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Questions about this item

What thermal limit appears first when the Threadripper 9960X runs at full load for hours?

The 360 mm AIO liquid cooler is rated to keep the 24-core CPU within its thermal envelope during sustained workloads.

How loud and how hot does the system get when it runs all day?

The Corsair 7000D case uses front 140 mm and rear 140 mm fans plus an ultra-quiet 140 mm PSU fan to maintain low noise while exhausting heat from the 1600 W Titanium supply.

What must I already own for this workstation to function out of the box?

Only a display with a compatible video input, a keyboard and a mouse are required; Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and all internal components are assembled.
