Built for 64-core parallel workloads

This Adamant Custom workstation pairs a 64-core AMD Threadripper 9980X processor with 256GB DDR5 ECC memory. It targets professionals running large-scale simulations, rendering pipelines or multi-instance virtualization where core count and memory bandwidth matter most.

Verify TRX50 platform clearance and power

The system uses a Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard in a Corsair 5000D FRAME case measuring 520 x 245 x 520 mm. A 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU feeds the CPU, dual Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives, a 10TB SATA HDD and an Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GPU. Confirm your rack or desk space accommodates the chassis dimensions and that your mains circuit can sustain the load.

Liquid cooling sustains 5.4 GHz boost clocks

A 360mm AIO quiet-edition cooler keeps the 64-core CPU at its peak 5.4 GHz frequency during extended compute runs. The 140mm PSU fan and case airflow maintain stable temperatures for the GPU and storage array, preventing thermal throttling during overnight renders or continuous AI training jobs.

Questions about this item

Does the system ship with every component already installed, or do I need to buy a graphics card, storage or memory separately?

The workstation arrives fully assembled with the 64-core Threadripper 9980X, 256 GB DDR5 ECC memory, a 2 TB and a 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD, a 10 TB SATA hard drive and the RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB graphics card all fitted inside the Corsair 5000D case.

The listing shows a 2 TB and a 4 TB NVMe drive — which one should I use for the operating system and active projects?

Both drives are Samsung 990 PRO models rated at 7 450 MB/s read and 6 900 MB/s write, so either can host Windows 11 Pro and current workloads; the 4 TB unit simply provides more capacity for larger datasets.

What does the 5.4 GHz boost clock on the 64-core Threadripper 9980X mean for real-world rendering or simulation tasks?

The processor can lift single threads to 5.4 GHz while all 64 cores and 128 threads share 256 MB of L3 cache, giving high single-thread responsiveness alongside massive parallel throughput for compute-heavy workloads.
